Albufe'ra (Arabic, 'the lake'), a lake near Valencia, in Spain, about 10 miles in length and the same in breadth, divided from the sea by a narrow tongue of land; a canal connects it with the city of Valencia. It is rich in fish and fowl. The revenues of the domain were granted by the Spaniards to Wellington.
