Apatin', a market-town of Hungary, in the county of Bacs, on the left bank of the Danube, 49 miles SW. of Theresiopol. It has manufactures of woollen cloth, and a considerable trade in hemp, silk, madder, and woad, the products of the vicinity. Pop. 11,973.
