Baker, MOUNT, an active volcano in the NW. of the state of Washington, U.S., in the Cascade Range, a continuation of the Rocky Mountains, 20 miles from the Canadian frontier. It is in eruption from time to time, and was very active in 1880. Its height is 11,100 feet.
