Theophylact

Theophylact, a famous Greek exegete, a native of Euripus in Eubœa, who became Archbishop of Achrida in Bulgaria in 1078, and died after 1107. He wrote commentaries on almost the whole Bible, printed in Venice (3 vols. 1754-58).
