Titusville,

Titusville, a city of Pennsylvania, on Oil Creek, 120 miles by rail SSW. of Buffalo. It contains oil wells and refineries, and, though it possesses also sawmills, ironworks, &c., its prosperity is mainly dependent on the oil-trade. In June 1892 it suffered much from a great flood.
