Turkmanshai.

Turkmanshai. a village of Azerbaijan, 65 miles ESE. of Tabriz, is the place where, on February 22, 1828, was concluded the treaty between Persia and Russia, by which the former resigned to the latter the Armenian provinces of Erivan and Nahitchevan.
