Wanderoo (Macacus silenus).

It is 3 feet long to the tip of the tail, has a slim body, pink buttocks, dark hair, and a great mane of long whitish hair round the face. Fabulous stories are current of its cunning and mischievousness; others are exceptionally intelligent. The Rhesus Monkey (q.v.) is another Macacus.
