Benedicite, or the Song of the Three Children, a canticle from the Apocrypha forming part of the prayer of Abednego in the fiery furnace. It was sung in the Christian Church as early as the time of St Chrysostom, and is used in the Anglican Church in the morning services when the Te Deum is not sung.
