Bisceglie, a seaport town of Italy, on the Adriatic, 21 miles NW. by W. from Bari. Bisceglie has a cathedral (dating from the 12th century), besides several other churches, a seminary, a hospital, &c. The neighbourhood produces good wine and oil. Pop. 21,675.
