Bischweiler

Bischweiler, a German town of Alsace, on the Moder, 17 miles N. of Strasburg. Its fortifications were dismantled in 1706. It has manufactures of jute, cloth, carpets, and cartridge-cases, and raises hops. Pop. 7014.
