Blackwall, a suburb of London, in Middlesex, at the junction of the Lee with the Thames, 3\frac{1}{2} miles ESE. of St Paul's. It has foundries, shipbuilding yards, East and West India Docks, and a tunnel under the Thames (opened in 1897).
