Blarney

Blarney (from the name of a castle near Cork, in the wall of which is a stone, difficult of access, that is said to endue any one who kisses it with heroic powers of cajolery), an Irish colloquial term, now general, applied to any smooth and excessively complimentary or cajoling talk.
