Bragança, the name of two considerable towns in Brazil.—(1) Bragança, a seaport, 100 miles NE. of Para, at the mouth of the Caite, which is here navigable to the town. Pop. of town and district, 6000.—(2) Bragança, an inland city of about 10,000 inhabitants, 50 miles to the NE. of São Paulo.
