Burra Burra

Burra Burra is the name of a famous copper mine in South Australia, 101 miles N. by E. of Adelaide. From 1844, when it was discovered, to 1875, 215,000 tons of ore, valued at £4,000,000, were raised; but mining soon became less remunerative.
