Calahorra, a town of Spain, 30 miles SE. of Logroño by rail. It occupies the site of the ancient Calagurris, the birthplace of Quintilian, celebrated for its obstinate but unsuccessful resistance to Pompey's legate (78 B.C.). It has an old cathedral, and 8832 inhabitants.
