Castillejo, CRISTÓVAL DE, the last of the old Spanish court poets, born at Ciudad Rodrigo about 1490, became secretary to the Infante, afterwards Ferdinand I., whom he followed to Germany. He died in Vienna, 12th June 1556. His works were first published at Madrid (1573).
