Ciotat, LA, a town in the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône, on a bay in the Mediterranean, 23 miles SE. of Marseilles by rail. It has a good and commodious harbour, the extensive workshops of the Messageries Maritimes Company, and a great coral fishery. Pop. 8901.
