Claparède

Claparède, EDOUARD, a Swiss naturalist and professor of Comparative Anatomy at Geneva, was born in 1832, and died in 1871. He wrote numerous works, including those on the fertilisation of eggs (1858), on the Infusoria and Rhizopoda (1860), and the Annelida of the Hebrides (1861).
