Comorin, CAPE (Kumdrī), the most southerly extremity of the peninsula of India, being, in fact, a sandy accretion to the termination of the Western Ghats. The low headland is in the state of Travancore, and its lat. and long. are 8^{\circ} 4' 20'' N., and 77^{\circ} 35' 35'' E.
