Comorin

Comorin, CAPE (Kumdrī), the most southerly extremity of the peninsula of India, being, in fact, a sandy accretion to the termination of the Western Ghats. The low headland is in the state of Travancore, and its lat. and long. are $8^\{\backslash circ\}\; 4\text{'}\; 20\text{'}\text{'}$ N., and $77^\{\backslash circ\}\; 35\text{'}\; 35\text{'}\text{'}$ E.
