Concal (Centropus), or LARK-HEELED CUCKOO, a genus of common bush-birds in Africa, India, and through the Malayan Archipelago to Australia. The hind-toe is prolonged into a very long spur.

A botanical illustration of Eriophorum (Cotton-grass). It shows a tall, slender stem with several long, narrow, and feathery bracts at the top. The bracts are densely covered in fine, hair-like fibers, giving them a cottony appearance. The illustration is a detailed line drawing showing the structure of the plant's inflorescence.
