Cooper's Hill, a ridge on the borders of Berks and Surrey, commanding a beautiful view of the Thames valley. It was the scene of a famous poem by Deuham (q.v.), and is now known in connection with the Cooper's Hill College, an important institution established in 1870 for the education of engineers for the Indian Works Department, to which a forestry school (1885) is attached.
