Corwen, a town of Merionethshire, North Wales, on the right bank of the Dee, at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, 12 miles N.E. of Bala by rail. It is a great resort of anglers, and boasts traditions of Owen Glendower. Pop. of parish, 2708.
