Cunninghamia, a genus of the Taxodium family of Conifere (q.v.), of which the only species (C. sinensis) is a lofty evergreen tree of southern China and Cochin China, with sessile leathery leaves, somewhat resembling those of an Araucaria. It is too tender for the climate of Britain, save in peculiarly favourable localities.
