Dehra, the capital of the Dehra Dín district in the North-western Provinces of India, is pleasantly situated in a mountain-valley, 2300 feet above sea-level, and 100 miles NE. of Meerut. Pop. (1881) 18,959; (1891) with cantonment, 25,700.
