Eaux Bonnes

Eaux Bonnes, a watering-place of France, in the department of Basses-Pyrénées, is situated in a narrow gorge of the Pyrenees, at an altitude of 2454 feet, and 29 miles S. of Pau. Pop. 795, with 6000 to 10,000 visitors in the season (July to August). The springs, both hot and cold, the former with a temperature ranging from 53° to 91° F., contain sulphur and sodium; the water is used for disorders of the chest and respiratory organs.
