Eclogite

Chambers's Encyclopaedia, Volume 4: Dionysius to Friction, p. 190

Eclogite, or Eklogite, a crystalline rock composed of the beautiful grass-green amphibole, called smaragdite, and red garnet. Another variety of eclogite is composed of omphacite, a grass-green granular variety of pyroxene, and garnet. Eclogite is not an abundant rock; it is usually associated with the other crystalline schists, but as a rule is not itself schistose.
