Gentilly, a southern suburb of Paris, on the circular railway, at the foot of the Bicêtre hill. It has a number of villas, tanneries, and manufactures of biscuits, vinegar, mustard, and soap. Pop. (1891) 15,017, many of them employed in the neighbouring quarries and in washing.
