Geometrical Mean

Geometrical Mean of two numbers is that number the square of which is equal to the product of the two numbers; thus, the geometrical mean of 9 and 16 is 12, for $9\; \backslash times\; 16\; =\; 144\; =\; 12^2$. Hence the geometrical mean of two numbers is found by multiplying the two numbers together, and extracting the square root of the product.
