Goodeniaceæ

Goodeniaceæ, an order of corollifloral dicotyledons, closely allied to Campanulaceæ and Lobeliaceæ. The 200 species, the great part herbs, are mostly natives of the Australian and South African regions. Goodenia ovata is a pretty yellow-flowered shrub of Australia. Seavola Taceuda is a shrub from the pith of which the Malays make a kind of rice-paper. The young leaves are eaten as a salad.
