Guastalla

Guastalla, a small town of Italy, on the Po, 19 miles by rail NE. of Parma. The seat of a bishop (since 1828), it has an old castle, and a school of music. Guastalla gave name in 1406 to a county, in 1621 to a duchy. Pop. 2648.
