Jones, HENRY ARTHUR

Jones, HENRY ARTHUR, playwright, was born at Grandborough, Bucks, 28th September 1851, and was at first in business. Only Round the Corner was produced in 1878, but his first hit was The Silver King (1882). Other plays are Saints and Sinners (1884), The Middleman, The Dancing Girl, Rebellious Susan, The Triumph of the Philistines, The Liars (1897), The Physician, (1897), &c.
