Kāma

Kāma, or KÁMADEVA, the Hindu god of Love. In later Sanskrit poetry, he is the favourite theme of descriptions and allusions; and mythology exalts his power so much that it allows even the god Brahmā to succumb to it. According to some Purāṇas, he was originally a son of Brahmā.
