Kempen, a town of Rhenish Prussia, 7 miles NW. of Krefeld. It manufactures silk goods, wax candles, vinegar, &c. Pop. 5952. There is another Kempen in the Prussian government of Posen, 48 miles by rail NE. of Breslau. Pop. 5787.
