Königshütte, a rapidly growing centre of great coal, iron, zinc, and copper works in Prussian Silesia, 110 miles SE. of Breslau by rail. It was constituted a town in 1869, out of several mining villages. Pop. (1885) 32,072; (1891) 36,502.
