Little Falls, a post-village of New York, on the Mohawk River, 73 miles WNW. of Albany, on the line of the Erie Canal and of two railways. The Mohawk here passes through a narrow rocky gorge, with falls of 44 feet, giving water-power to several mills and factories. Pop. 8910.
