Manka'to, capital of Blue Earth county, Minnesota, on the right bank of the Minnesota River, 86 miles SW. of St Paul. Three lines of railway pass, and small steamboats can ascend as far as this point. The town contains a state normal school, Roman Catholic college, &c., and has varied manufactures. Pop. (1890) 8838.
