Meinhold, JOHANN WILHELM (1797-1851), a native of the island of Usedom, and Lutheran pastor at Usedom, Krummin, and Relwinkel, published poems and dramas, but is best known as author of The Amber Witch (trans. by Lady Duff Gordon, 1844) and Sidonia the Sorceress (trans. 1893).
