Neustadt, a town of Prussian Silesia, 25 miles SW. of Oppeln. It is the seat of considerable industry, woollen and linen fabrics and carpets being the staple manufactures. Pop. (1875) 12,515; (1885) 16,093; (1895) 19,243.
