Nyctaginaceæ

Nyctaginaceæ, a natural order partly herbaceous plants, both annual and perennial, and partly shrubs and trees. There are about 100 known species, natives of warm countries. Some have beautiful flowers, as those of the genus Mirabilis, known in gardens as Marvel of Peru.
