Pintail Duck (Dafila acuta).

Pintail (Dafila), a genus of ducks, one handsome species of which (D. acuta) is a winter visitor to many parts of the British coast. It is a native of all northern regions, is elongated in form, and very rapid in flight. Its flesh is much esteemed.
