Puff-birds (Buconidæ), a family resembling Kingfishers in form, but living on insects like Flycatchers; they also resemble the Bee-eaters, and are found only in South and Central America. See BARBER, and Selater's Monograph of the Jacamars and Puff-birds (1882).
