Schipperke

Schipperke (Flemish, 'little skipper'), the name of a breed of dogs that has recently become familiar at dog shows, belonging to the same group as the Eskimo and Pomeranian dog, but with almost no tail. They are favourites of the Belgian barges, and from them have derived their name.
