Adra, a Mediterranean seaport of Spain, in the province of Almería, 49 miles SE. of Granada. The Phœnician Abdera (not the Thracian Abdera, q.v.) stood on a hill close by. There are lead-mines in the neighbourhood. Pop. 9039.
