Amphitrite

Amphitrite, a sea-goddess in Greek Mythology, daughter of Nereus, or of Oceanus, and wife of Poseidon. When the latter demanded her in marriage, she fled to Mount Atlas, but was discovered by a dolphin, which Poseidon had sent after her, and borne back to him. In sculpture, she is often represented sitting next to Poseidon, or drawn by Tritons.
