Victoria Cave, 2 miles N. of Settle in Yorkshire, is situated in a cliff 900 feet above the Ribble. It was discovered in 1837; and exploration has revealed in it bones of the elephant, hyæna, rhinoceros, bear, deer, horse, badger, &c., with implements and pottery of Roman-Celtic date.
