Billardiera, or APPLEBERRY, a genus of twining Australian evergreen shrubs of the natural order Pittosporaceae. The fruit is generally bluish when ripe, and is eatable, although not destitute of a resinous character which prevails in the order. Some species are cultivated in greenhouses in Britain.
