Bird's-eye Limestone

Bird's-eye Limestone (so called from the crystalline points disseminated through the rock) is a division of the Trenton group of the Lower Silurian of North America, apparently equivalent to the Llandeilo flags, and containing, besides the remains of brachiopods, many enormous orthoceratites.
