Dhunchee, or DHANCHI [Aeschynomene (Sesbania) aculeata], an annual herbaceous plant cultivated in Bengal on account of its coarse hemp-like fibre. It is steeped and prepared very much like Sunn (q.v.). Other species are of similar use.
