Dolomite Mountains. The distinctive peculiarities of dolomite mountain-scenery, with its jagged outlines and isolated peaks, may be seen on the grandest scale in the south-east of Tyrol and in the Carinthian Alp masses. When the Dolomites par excellence are spoken of, it is the Dolomite Mountains of this region that are meant.
