Huntly, a town of Scotland, 41 miles NW. of Aberdeen. In the vicinity is the ruin of Huntly Castle, the seat of the earls and marquises of Huntly (see GORDON). Huntly is the birthplace of Dr George Macdonald. Pop. 3760.
